I just saw the bit that KMTR Newsource
16 did on K&R. What a wonderful thing to turn on the news and see
K&R! 31 years ago my sweetheart and I would go to K&R every
Friday night and get a taco salad for dinner. Now 31 years later we are
married with 4 grown children, and I know each of them go to K&R on
occasion. We have long ago moved away, but always enjoy a visit to
K&R when we are passing by. What a wonderful nostalgic place. The
burgers are the best to be found anywhere, the fries are real potatoes
and can't be beat. The ice cream? That speaks for itself. We recommend
it to everyone we know that will be traveling past Rice Hill. I would
like to commend you on your staff. It looks as though you employ young
people and it is always nice to see a place that helps young people
learn the value of hard work. The management must work very hard to
train these people that are new to the workforce. We are always greeted
with a smile. We are happy to see that everything looks clean. I hope
that K&R is around for many more years!
